Darren boasts a dynamic career where he’s spent the past 10 years’ in the technology sector, most recently in a strategic leadership position at a large technology firm listed on the NYSE, where his role involved the oversight of strategic direction, operations, and growth of the EMEA region which saw the organisation’s substantial expansion. Experienced across sales, digital innovation and growth, making him a key member of The Clean Food Company.
Darren is responsible for every element of the business, from coordinating logistics, to forming new client relationships and overseeing the development of the farm. Darren’s extensive knowledge in the digital innovation sector and large network is invaluable to The Clean Food Company.
Abbey is an experienced business leader with particular expertise in government, diplomatic and high-net-worth relationships. He currently serves as the CEO of WPP Energy UK, a company dedicated to R&D in the renewable energy and clean technology sector. Prior to that he was Director of Government & External Communications across Octagenix Biopharmaceuticals (UK), Brains Bioceutical (Canada) and BSPG Laboratories (UK), where he successfully secured £7 million of new business in a single year. External Relations at Imperial Corporate Capital PLC, he was responsible for liaising with a wide range of stakeholders across national and local government and organised several prestigious investors’ events at the House of Lords.
Abbey is a Freeman of the City of London, a Member of the UK Chamber of Commerce and a Member of the Worshipful Company of Communicators. In 2019 he was awarded Asian Business Professional of the Year.
